Items to consider before moving to the eCW Cloud


If your site is considering moving to the eCW Azure Cloud hosting solution, one thing to keep in mind.

eCW will provide a FULL and DIFF backup that will need to be restored into a Local Database, as eCW will not allow vendors to connect straight into their environment, once in the shared cloud.

eCW will provide daily transaction logs that will have to be restored nightly prior to the BridgeIT update.


There are several options to perform the steps manually or automation is the best policy after the initial setup.


Here are some of those options:


  • BridgeIT Support can assist with this piece; however, it would be additional work and maintenance.
  • Have your own IT Team work with eCW to setup that piece.
  • Consider being Hosted by BridgeIT for additional maintenance fees.  Pricing depends on the size of the database and number of Toolboxes.
